This is Gabe's 1965 T100SC, or 'Tiger 100'. This bike was purchased in 1988 from Ken Arman in Campbell, who was probably glad to be rid of it since it's not a Norton. After ripping out the stock, non-working electrical system, and rewiring it with a trusty Mity Max black box, she was up and running.

It has gone through many small transformations since then, but has stayed mostly stock overall, down to the front drum brake and original black and gold CA plates. It used to have a red front fender complete with 'pedestrian slicer' number plate, but that was removed when we installed the chrome rear fender and drop-bars. This bike is tetering on the brink between cafe racer and stocker, and will most likely go one way or the other soon. Could be fun with upswept pipes and a single seat...

The engine has never been apart while we have owned it, besides having the head or alloy side covers off for maintenance. The clutch got replaced with new Barnett plates, and a larger drive sprocket was put in for good acceleration, but that's about it other than routine tuning. It's a lot of fun to ride, but needs to be wound up to get power out of it, much different than the torque of the 650s. The plan is to rebuild the motor after the project '69 bonnie is finished.
